What is the sentiment like up there?

In my area I get to see people who have had very successful businesses. Which got me wondering what are the people with more than average amounts of money doing. Well the sentiment is very positive. Not because of anything they bought but because of what they believe.

Neighbors are buying hard money producing assets such as boat clubs, generator installation companies and a select other businesses that have a regional monopoly. The one neighbor purchased a whole factory producing air filters of all things.

When asked why they would be spending so much money so quickly and in a short period of time accumulating debts that can never be paid back they answer this.

"The US dollar is due to soften drastically in value before that happens I want to accumulate as much debt and cash generating systems" Why? Well they believe when the dollar becomes worthless their debts will essentially be cancelled out.

Hmm that sounds familiar who else is doing that? Microstrategy particularly Michael Sailor. Is it crazy? Not sure
