Its that guys fault we cant make money
How Do They Make Money?Rockwell makes industrial automation equipment and software. Their core belief is that software is what will carry the company forward.
Rockwell emphasizes in their 10-k that their industry is competitive every penny counts. That 1 change could cause their house of cards to crumble. Well not one change but they did say, "We face the potential harms of natural disasters, including those as a result of climate change, pandemics, acts of war, terrorism, international conflicts, or other disruptions to our operations, the duration and severity of which are highly uncertain and difficult to predict" Which if you search other 10-k`s you can find. However, they really are not rolling out the red carpet here. You are telling me one of the largest PLC and Automation Software companies who charge top dollar for their products to businesses does not have a little safety net?
Let`s try to answer the question are they making money
In North America they are very profitable but combining Europe and Africa they only are loosing a 1% of sales? Does that mean they never had a foot hold there? Remember those other exchanges? Lets take a quick peak at their competitors.

They do express similar concerns to Rockwell but check out this income statement.
Lets look at Siemens
Is it possible that the one percent loss was gobbled up by Siemens ? Lets not jump to conclusions but if I had to translate Rockwell's 10-K it sounds like that one friend who is in their late 30`s stuck living in their parents basement. Pointing fingers at everything around them being the problem they cannot make money and not understanding they are loosing because they are lacking in key areas.
Speaking to current and former employees the talented staff are going to take high paying jobs else where. The ones left are promoted up making the organization very very top heavy.
However, this is just my personal opinion. We are looking for physical proof that Rockwell is top heavy or if they are a good purchase. So far I am not in love my heart sees a prettier option elsewhere.
