Understanding the different people who are interested in Bitcoin

Everyone mentions Bitcoin as an investment or an asset. Well I guess it needs to be considered that. The basis of this argument is grounded in Softwar: A Novel Theory on Power Projection and the National Strategic Significance of Bitcoin" by Major Jason Lowery.

In my career and everything I do cyber attacks are always a problem that is why PLCs which are an interface with real world I/O are typically air gapped and placed on a separate network. However, you need to understand the true cost of launching a cyber attack has almost no financial burden on the attacker the attacker incurs almost no cost leaving the field open to a wide variety of people.

There is a group of people who are looking to secure banks and other corporations data from non-nation state actors by using crypto currency.

I would like to point out that if a company were to have complete control on the price action of an asset they could use that to influence who can "launch a cyber attack". They would need a certain amount of bitcoin to initiate the attack. Essentially, it would use real world currency to inflict damage on our adversaries.

Currently, $UNH, and other companies on their financials show they suffer from enormous losses incurred by cyber attacks. If there was a system that could enable them to reduce this that company would be incredibly valuable.

Like Warren Buffet said he does not see the point in crypto and I am in the same camp but if used in the way described by Major Jason Lowery that changes things.

Hence, I keep a watchful eye on 1 company only and that is $MSTR not because it is a bit coin treasury company but it is being run by someone who survived the .com bubble. Has a successful software enterprise and he wants to own all of the bitcoin meaning he would be able to affect price action. It is just a thought as of right now and it may bankrupt his whole business operation. However, he has earned his place on my watch list.
