Is The Business Growing?

Is The Business Growing?

No, the business is definetly not growing. Its shrinking. Latest reports point out a significant downsizing as part of Intels restructuring program. Around 15k jobs will be cut. Here in Germany there is a lot of talk about the postponed building of a factory near Magdeburg, which would have provided 3k jobs and around 10B subsidies from the german government.

Revenue

The company grew its revenue until 2021, but growth rates where already slowing down. In 2022 it went down 20%, in 2023 another 14%.

I looked at Q1-Q3 2024 and there is a slight turnaround within that time frame. But using those numbers to estimate a 2024 total revenue will put us at 51.73B, which is around 2.5B less then 2023 total revenue.

Net Income/ Free cash Flow

Just red numbers. The Restructuring Program might be the cause of the recent heavy decline, which is heavily invested in. I think this can also be observed in the free cash flow. Correct me if I´m wrong here, this is just my interpretation.

Total Equity

No idea why this looks better than the other metrics, to be honest. Flankers, i need your help understanding this one.
