A new type of investor

I have close collogues that were former financial advisors so, they say. However, it was always a pleasure to get together and debate investing strategy. Yet, it seems like there are some noticeable shifts in the finance world. Recently, perfectly rational investors suddenly started to behave very irrational. They did this by investing their entire life savings in MSTR and doing options trading. It worked for a while and my guess is it is working ok for them. Yet, upon further probing Grok from X AI is the one making all of their financial decisions. This even extends to practicing personal financial advisors which is a big NO.

Recently, Grok has labeled my vegetable garden and my robotics hobby as a threat and convinced one colleague who I have known for years that some how me offering him spare tomato plants is a threat. Keep in mind these where once very intelligent investors who have made millions in the stock market. However, now every decision every move they make is not coming from their head but from an AI. Almost like a zombie.

Is this the rise of a new type of investor? The zombie/hivemind investor. Though, I guess these types have always been present in the market. What do you think will giving your entire portfolio over to the AI of your choice be something you would do?
