Peter Thiel sells entire NVDA stake
Peter Thiel's 13F came out earlier this week, and he sold his entire NVDA position.
This has been pretty widely reported, but if you look at his history of 13F's, he moves in and out of large positions pretty quickly.
Also, what's less reported is that he also sold a large portion of his Tesla shares (from 272K shares to 65k shares), as well as closed out his $40M Vistra position and took $20M Apple position
This was his 13F summary on 6/30/25:
And this is his 13F summary from 11/14/25:
It's almost an entirely different portfolio lol... and his public market exposure has actually increased.
Also, I just have to say it. Peter Thiel is a misanthrope. There is no reason to believe that he is sending us any signals that we should trust. Please remember this moment from a recent podcast...
He also has a $5B+ Roth IRA (which is much, much larger than his publicly disclosed portfolio).
He could be doing anything in that fund, or in any of his other private funds. He could literally be using his fame to bring down the stock to buy more-- we just don't have any idea.
So, although I'm neutral on NVDA (falls into my "too-hard" bucket), I don't take this as any sort of signal.
Closing with a good video on how 13Fs are moving altogether:
