Gamifying investing

Robinhoods main competitors are brokerage services like etrade, fidelity, and charles schwab. Whats ironic is that I am using Charles Schwab to invest in Robinhood. What I think is Robinhoods competitive advantage is twofold. First is their app design which is very user friendly. I believe Robinhood succeeded in creating an app which can serve as an introduction to investing for people. The app itself is prone to technical problems that over years Robinhood has been slowly fixing. The second advantage is the fact that Robinhood has successfully turned options from a hedging strategy into a casino. Robinhood used to have the advantage of being commission free but other brokerage services have caught up at this point. The biggest advantage in my opinion is the options as was showcased in Davids video on Robinhood. Robinhood has successfully gamified investing.
