How Do They Make Money?

Fabrinet is a fairly young company founded about 25 years ago (was incorporated on August 12, 1999, and commenced operations on January 1, 2000 per SEC.gov). Since then, they've dug their heels into the still nascent specialty optics and photonics fabrication industry. I think of them as a miniature Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), however fit firmly into their own niche. They've seen steady growth and have amassed loyal customers in a variety of industries, from data centers, to medical equipment, to automotive sensors. They believe that one of their greatest strengths will be found when original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will continue to outsource the fabrication services of their leading-edge chip designs.
