Is Rockwell in trouble ?

Had the pleasure of speaking to one of the higher ups at Rockwell. Not sure on his position. However, he was complaining on how there was a lot of bloat in their management structure causing them to be less then effective when implementing AI. In fact, you can say his words were an exact contradiction to the CEO`s in the earnings calls. In fact, Rockwell it seems had a sizable portion of their AI development team in the US resign and take positions elsewhere.

A little know fact is Rockwell is relying on Microsoft for AI products and one of the former developers at this conference mentioned that Microsoft cannot meet the needs of Rockwell and their implementation is half baked.

What do you guys think? I believe I will investigate these claims further but I do see some truth to them. As Rockwell compared to other companies have really missed the mark. In fact, Exxon Mobile and some other companies have partnered with Schneider Electric to make an open source eco-system.

Also eating away at Rockwell`s market share are cheaper more affordable PLCs and automation equipment.

The biggest loss ASML and Semi-Conductor Fabs outside of the US often choose to not use Rockwell Products.
