US opens investigation into 2.9 million Tesla Full-self driving traffic violations

The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says it has 58 reports, including 14 crashes and 23 injuries.

This is important because NHTSA will be arguably the most important gov agency that will approve nation-wide Full-self driving.

One of our first Flankers, is a commercial airline pilot. I remember him telling me YEARS ago that there is no way FSD will work on visual-only input (no LiDAR). Makes me think he was onto something.
