Broadcom Inc
Rabbit MQ, VMware and giants butting heads
Rabbit MQ is what Optimum and some other large distribution centers require on their integrated systems. Rockwell, Siemens and a bunch of other companies use this too.
Virtual Machines which allows a user to run a different OS on their PC was also very common in the industrial automation space. You could set up a test server on your VM run your machine and make sure your work is correct before shipping it to your customer. Then when you are done purge the environment or archive it.
However, this has all changed recently as Broadcom Purchased VM Ware. Broadcom knowing how Siemens and Rockwell use VMware extensively in their workflows started going on the attack price gouging and eating into a significant portion of profits. I am going to research this more but knowing that a Warren Buffet company $UNH needs to pay Broadcom makes this an interesting company.
