Reddit’s userbase continues to steadily grow – but how does the company plan to grow revenue?

Here are some of the ways Reddit plans to grow its userbase and revenue, per their latest quarterly report from October 30, 2024:

Plans to Grow Revenue

• Support advertising growth via artificial intelligence and machine learning

• Increase revenue from new and existing advertisers (via deeper advertiser relationships, a more evolved service model capable of handling more advertisers, and more product opportunities and offerings)

• Expand to areas outside of the United States (roughly 80% of Reddit’s revenue and 50% of users come from the United States)

• Expand non-advertising revenue sources (primarily from data licensing and Reddit’s “user economy”)

Plans to Grow Userbase

• Increase awareness of Reddit through SEO, partnerships, and investment in full funnel marketing

• Increase user engagement

• Target audiences outside of the United States

• Reward Redditors for creating content via monetization tools
