Amazon launches $5 'price-conscious' grocery brand
Amazon is launching a new private-label grocery brand aimed at “price-conscious” shoppers.
Most products are priced under $5, and the company says it includes more than 1,000 items, ranging from meat and fresh produce to snacks and dairy.
Amazon’s grocery business has been in flux in recent years, as it tweaks its physical store footprint.
How on earth will they get any margin from this?! Really wonder what the longterm strategy is here
