After 9 years working at Tesla from Autopilot to Optimus, the headline of this article felt like clickbait once I read the actual quote on his reason to leave.

More than likely is that Tesla will find a high-potential successor to follow in his footsteps, especially since this was a departure on good terms, there was likely some planning that went into it (my speculation).
