PepsiCo Leadership’s BAG

I knew next to nothing about who was at the helm of PepsiCo and in researching their leadership I came across this video of Ramon Laguarta, The Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEOs of PepsiCo, where he discusses PepsiCo’s push into healthier foods, specifically eliminating artificial flavors. This was nice to hear because when I think of PepsiCo I think of junk food and soda and I believe that we, as a society, are becoming much more health conscious and a company like PepsiCo will need to adapt in order to stay alive and grow. It seems as though he wants PepsiCo to lead the charge for more health conscious foods and I see that as his BAG (big ambitious goal) for the company, and I love it. If they can get ahead of the game and be at the forefront of healthier ingredients in these major food/drink corporations, then I see a bright future for PepsiCo. I am going to keep an eye on them and see if/how they decide to implement these changes but, after watching this interview, I came away with a better feeling about the company.
